Choral Performance by the Liugui Choral Group (18:30-18:50)

Established after the devastation of Typhoon Morakot in 2009, the choir blends diverse ethnic musical elements, including indigenous, Minnan, and Hakka influences, and has adapted numerous indigenous folk songs. They are a dominant force in domestic choral competitions.

Symphony Concert by the Kaohsiung Medical University String Orchestra (18:50-19:10)

The String Club of Kaohsiung Medical University began in March 1978. Their repertoire is highly diverse. In addition to classical and theatrical music, modern music and movie soundtracks are also frequently performed. They've won numerous National Student Competition of Music awards to date.

Event Concludes

Cijin (Qijin)

Just in time for the sunset, we will embark with the ferry to Qijin (Cijin) Island, a popular island located just off the shore of Kaohsiung. We will gather in front of the Conference Center (exit between W1 and W2) and leave from there at 17:45 sharp on September 19 to go with the ferry to Cijin island. Please be at the meeting point at 17:40.

Once on the island, we will have the opportunity to indulge in the delicious local cuisine available from the rustic traditional eateries and abundant snack shops on Old Street. From there we will make a move to the laid-back Sunset Bar to enjoy some food and drinks. The food and some selected drinks at the Sunset Bar will be sponsored by SNRN.
