The ISEE 2023 Annual Conference will be held at the Kaohsiung Exhibition Center, which is located centrally within the city.

How to reach the KEC
From Taoyuan International Airport (Taipei):
Upon arrival, please proceed to the MRT station. Both Terminal 1 (Station A12) and Terminal 2 (Station A13) have express and commuter trains available at approximately 7.5-minute intervals. The High Speed Rail (HSR) is located at station A18.
Please keep in mind that eating and drinking is forbidden at MRT stations and on trains.
Upon arrival at the Taoyuan HSR Station (A18), please follow the signs for the HSR. There are ticketing machines which operate in multiple languages (including English) as well as ticket counters to purchase your ticket. You may also buy tickets online via the Taiwan High Speed Rail Website.
The HSR station for Kaohsiung is Zuoying. The shortest journey takes 1h35min. You may buy snacks in advance before boarding the train. It is also possible to buy soft drinks, coffee, and snacks on board. If you have luggage larger than cabin size, we recommend you purchase a ticket with a reserved seat.
Upon arrival at Zuoying Station, you may proceed to the Kaohsiung Metro/Kaohsiung Rapid Transit (KRT) or take a taxi to reach the venue.
From Kaohsiung International Airport:
Upon arrival, please proceed to the Kaohsiung International Airport KRT Station. From here, you can take the KRT to the Sanduo Shopping District Station. Trains are available from Kaohsiung International Airport every 4-6 minutes during rush hour, and no more than 8 minutes during off-peak hours.
Once you get off at the Sanduo Shopping District Station (Exit 2), the KEC is a 10-minute walk away.
